World Class University Rankings (WCU) is an initiative of Sacramento Collaborative. It brings together distinct approaches to global university evaluation in a transparent composite framework designed to support institutional learning, informed comparison, and international dialogue.
We recognize that universities differ in mission, scale, discipline, regional context, and public responsibility. No single ordinal ranking should stand in for these diverse purposes.

WCU is an independent synthesis of published ranking results. It does not claim endorsement or partnership with QS, ARWU, CWUR, U.S. News, or Times Higher Education. The 2027 website provides downloadable data, source positions, methodological explanations, and country statistics.
